Each unit of Pequenos Falantes is a stepping stone in the linguistic journey, designed to engage and challenge young learners at every step.

Our curriculum is structured around key themes like family, daily activities, and cultural experiences, ensuring comprehensive exposure to the language and its real-world application.

Every unit includes interactive lessons, engaging videos, hands-on activities, and personal reflection times, allowing students to practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

The course also incorporates gesture-based learning and symbol interpretation, enhancing cognitive connection and retention. With each completed unit, students progressively build their language proficiency and cultural understanding, equipping them with the skills to communicate confidently in Portuguese.

Completing each unit in the Pequenos Falantes course involves three comprehensive steps designed to maximize the learning experience and ensure thorough understanding and application of the Portuguese language:

1. Interactive Video Lesson with Student’s Book:
The journey of each unit begins with an interactive video lesson, where students are guided through the new material in an engaging and dynamic way. These videos provide clear explanations and are filled with interactive elements to keep the learning experience lively. Students are encouraged to follow along with their student’s book, which complements the video content, reinforcing the lesson through visual aids and written exercises. This dual approach ensures that students not only hear and see the language in context but also start to form a personal connection with the material.

2. Online and Activity Book Exercises:
After absorbing the initial lesson through the video and student’s book, learners proceed to reinforce their knowledge by completing a series of activities. This is done through the online learning platform, which offers interactive exercises tailored to the unit’s content, and through the activity book, which provides additional written tasks. These activities are designed to practice all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. They help to solidify the student’s understanding and use of the new concepts and vocabulary introduced in the lesson.

3. Private Class with the Teacher:
The final step in completing a unit is to schedule a private class with the teacher. This one-on-one session allows students to clarify any doubts, practice speaking, and apply what they have learned in a real conversational context. It’s a chance for personalized feedback and targeted support, ensuring that each student can confidently progress to the next unit with a solid understanding of the material covered.

To effectively progress through the course, we recommend that students engage in two sessions of 45 minutes each per week. This pacing allows for consistent practice and absorption of the material, ensuring that students can complete one lesson per week and steadily advance in their language learning journey.
